Experience a Difference
Historically, healthcare services have focused on providing reactive acute illness and injury care. This model of care offers diagnosis and treatment for cure of a specific symptom or injury within a timed visit to a passive recipient of care. Unfortunately, this one-size fits all type of healthcare leaves many with unheard and/or unmet needs, missed preventive care services and opportunities to identify and modify health risks, and inadequate chronic condition care and support.
Nurse Practitioner Wellness Alliance aspires to help women bridge this healthcare gap by listening and attending to what is important to them about their health and well-being. This personalized approach to care fosters the building of therapeutic partnerships which, in turn, promotes personal empowerment and sustained healthier lifestyle choices.
Nurse Practitioner Wellness Alliance is a nurse practitioner owned and operated healthcare practice serving women in Puyallup, Washington and surrounding communities since 2006. If you are outside of the practice area and interested in our approach to care, consultation and coaching services are available by telephone or e-mail. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
Nurse Practitioner Wellness Alliance’s proactive approach to care is unique in today’s healthcare environment. We believe you deserve to be heard and understood, want to actively participate in a therapeutic partnership, and are capable of making wise healthcare decisions. By choosing Nurse Practitioner Wellness Alliance, you can expect evidenced-based quality health and wellness services that are:
- Provided by an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) licensed in the state of Washington, nationally board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified as a NAMS Menopause Practitioner, and trained as an Intrinsic Coach™ who participates in ongoing educational opportunities.
- Offered in a welcoming, safe, non-judgmental, and non-discriminatory environment.
- Designed to be affordable to include acceptance of most major insurance plans, availability of a prompt pay discount, and guidance on accessing available national and local programs and resources.
To maintain this unique practice model, Nurse Practitioner Wellness Alliance has chosen not to serve as a full service primary care practice. Rather, serve as a member of your healthcare team by augmenting (not replacing) the services already offered by local primary care providers and specialists.
